It's a work in progress....

It has been nearly a year since NUT THING has had work done on it, There have been many distractions, We brought a Pajero to use as our tow car for NUTR33 and also Luke's work car, and it needed an engine rebuild, so Luke was busy working on that, We have also sold our old magna and in the terms of the sale, had to change it from an auto to a manual, so that was another Luke job, plus we have had a few time restrictions with work and other social gatherings/trips away. Now that the Paj is up and running, and the magna is gone, The skyline has had priority the last few weeks with a few events coming up (DECA, Dyno and Drags), and then hopefully we can get back into it and head towards getting NUT THING finished :)
Stay tuned for more updates......

Slow and Steady!

Its been quite a while since Luke managed to get a chance to work on his "NUT THING". Today he mounted the engine mount plates to the frame and trial fitted engine mounts. Removed engine and turned frame on table so as to be able to start building cabin and front end. Have also trial fitted the seats to get measurements etc . Slowly getting there!

So we have some more progress...

The supervisor hard at work

Anna "supervising"

Its been a productive weekend!

Luke has been busy working on the engine frame for his car this weekend.
The top and bottom of the frame is tack welded together, other bars are clamped in place ready for welding and the brown tape is to give a rough idea of where some more bars need to be
